Why we exist
Each of us has started over at least once: after redundancy, after a divorce, after moving countries with two suitcases. What helped most was never hype. It was a clear next step, a bit of reliable information and someone saying, "This is normal. You are doing better than you think." That is the voice we try to write in.
What we cover
Four turning points come up again and again: moving somewhere new, changing careers, rebuilding after an ending and building new habits. Our guides go deep on each rather than skimming many.
Our editorial standards
- Evidence first. We cite named researchers, books and studies so you can check them yourself, and we say when evidence is limited.
- No miracle claims. We will never promise that a mindset trick will fix your life overnight.
- Independence. We do not accept payment for coverage, and we do not run affiliate links in our guides.
- Safety. Where topics touch mental health, we point to professional and crisis support.
- Corrections. If we get something wrong, email us and we will fix it and note the change.
What we are not
We are not therapists, doctors, lawyers or financial advisers, and nothing here replaces personalised professional advice. Think of us as a well-read friend who has been through it and wants you to have the map.
